Healthy Waterways 2008

IESA was the only commercial sponsor of the 2008 Healthy Waterways Conference in Airlie Beach, which was the launch platform for the Mackay Whitsunday Quality Improvement Plan produced by researchers from Reef Catchments. This report provides crucial water quality information on all 33 catchments within the Mackay Whitsunday region and actions for improvements. The three researchers were named finalists in the prestigious Australian Museum's national 'Eureka Award' for the Mackay Whitsunday Quality Improvement Plan. IESA is proud to be a supportive sponsor on improving water quality for these organisations.
